About Course
Dining Out 外出就餐 picks up where Food leaves off: now that you can order one dish, this course gets you through the whole meal. Reserve by phone or at the door (a table for four, a window seat, a private room), take your number and wait your turn, then tell them how you actually want it — mild instead of hot, less salt, or no coriander at all. Read a menu by cooking method, ask what the house does best, check whether one portion is enough, hurry a late dish, pack the leftovers to go, settle up and split the bill. Four lessons, 48 character cards with tone-coloured pinyin, stroke order and audio.
Core characters such as 订 / 位 / 座 sit at HSK 1–2; restaurant-flow words such as 包间 / 忌口 / 推荐 / 账单 reach HSK 4–5. There is no word-level overlap with Food, Numbers or Shopping, so they stack cleanly.
